My name is Tim Gentry, and I founded Gentry Family Construction with my father, Gary Gentry, on New Year's Eve 2016. Starting this company wasn't just a business idea — it was a New Year's resolution, a lifelong dream, and a way to carry forward our family's legacy in the construction industry.
Growing up, I watched my dad work hard as a roofer. He was on rooftops most of my childhood, and that's what inspired me to follow in his footsteps. We officially opened Gentry Family Construction in 2017, and in those early days, I worked two jobs while building the business from the ground up.
Our goal from the beginning has been simple: treat every customer's home like it's our own. We take pride in being a local, family-owned company that combines decades of experience with a down-to-earth, honest approach.

Founder of Gentry Family Construction. Tim started the company on New Year's Eve 2016 with his father, Gary. Today, he oversees every project to ensure it meets the Gentry standard.

Owner & Estimator
With over 35 years of roofing experience, Gary is the heart of our estimating team. He's the friendly face you'll meet during your free estimate.
Phil Apodaca
Foreman & Drywall Specialist
Phil brings 10+ years of union drywall experience and leads our drywall division. His attention to detail makes him a favorite among our clients.
John Jolley (Johnny)
General Labor
Tim's uncle, Johnny, has more than 30 years of experience in roofing, framing, and siding. He's been building since the 90s and is a true backbone of the team.
